Our Goal : No workplace injuries – At All

We firmly believe that all accidents can be prevented and our goal is for no workplace injuries – at all. We focus on both preventing personal injuries and major accidents and the goal of no workplace injuries has become part of how we think and work, with a focus on continuous improvement.

The safety of our staff is paramount. Implementing ways to ensure our staff are safe at all times, also enables SMC to continue its high level of service delivery to our customers.

Code of Ethics

SMC’s Code of Ethics define who we are and how we work. Performance is the first Commitment. We understand that our customers have choices, and how we perform determines whether they choose us.
At the root of SMC’s Performance Commitment are the fundamental principles that legal requirements must be satisfied, that financial statements must be complete and accurate, and that customers and other stakeholders must be treated fairly. Simply stated, performance cannot be achieved without meeting these requirements.

The SMC Code of Ethics does not merely require compliance with laws. It embodies a commitment to positive behaviours that build trust, promote respect, and demonstrate integrity. We honour our commitments, communicate openly, and hold ourselves accountable.

What does this mean for you?

By promoting ethics within our operational staff, technical, sales and management teams, SMC can continue to offer services to you and your customers that are transparent and honest.
